Legendary appearance
Naturally, the design of the Golf GTI is inspired by the world of motorsports. The front, with its even slimmer headlights, the typical honeycomb structure of the radiator grille and the gleaming black air intake vents identify it as a worthy successor to the original GTI. The classic red trim strip extends from the radiator grille, with its GTI lettering, to above the compact headlights, emphasising the dynamic overall impression. This impression is further strengthened by the powerful-looking bumpers – a feature unique to the GTI.

Sporty, legendary and committed to tradition: the interior of the Golf GTI features high-quality, striking, typical GTI fittings, from the dash panel and sports seats to the stainless steel pedal caps.
As you drive, you will be able to see exactly how your vehicle is performing on the animated, colour Active Info Display, or enjoy looking at the dash panel with its GTI-specific instruments.
The optional Discover Pro radio offers innovative gesture control and navigation through a 9.2 inch screen. This allows you to change from one radio station to another or change the system settings in your car, such as the intensity of the instrument panel lighting, with a single hand gesture.
Music & infotainment
A touch-sensitive colour screen with a 16.5 cm (6.5 inch) diagonal is one of the highlights of the standard Composition Colour radio. Listen to FM radio or music in MP3 or WMA formats on the system’s four speakers. These music files can be played from an SD card.
